Welcome to yarn4socksHi, our names are Donna and Valerie, and we are SOCK ADDICTS. If we don't have three sock projects going at the same time we are not happy. Sad but true, we just can't get enough sock yarn. In honor of Independence Day here in the US, we're going to be having a HUGE Red, White and Blue sale on July 4th. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades and barbecues. For us knitters, July 4th will be a great day to celebrate our yarn stash as well as Freedom, Liberty and the Pursuit of a Greater Yarn Stash. If you don't live in the US, the 4th of July will just be a great sale day which you can enjoy along with us! Everything in inventory that has red, white or blue will be 30% off. White: Since we didn't have a whole lot of yarns with white in it, we decided that patterns and needles would be the bulk of our White sale. Every pattern, booklet, dpn or circular needle will be 30% off. Yes, that's every single pattern by Knitspot, ShiBuiKnits, Designedly Kristi, Sublime, Schaefer Yarns and more. That's also includes every Kollage and Addi Turbo needle. Red and Blue: All the yarns, be it Fleece Artist kits, fingering weight, sport/dk, worsted/aran and bulky weight yarns that have red, white or blue in them will also be 30% off. All the accessories that have any white, red and blue will also be on sale at 30% off. Make sure to check every category as you'll find sale items throughout the store. We'll also have a Freedom contest on our blog. We'd like you to post in the comments your favorite quote about freedom, who it's from and what it means to you. Every 4 hours (it is the 4th of July after all!) we'll pick a winner out of the comments to win an extra special yarn prize. The contest will be open for 24 hours starting at midnight. August Sock Club:Sign ups for the August Sock Club, featuring Anni Allis of Anni Design are now open. You might know Anni also as the person behind the Sockamania KAL. She will be both designing a pattern and providing us with her yarn. I can't wait to see what she comes up with!
